Who we are

TruckSize (trucksize.com) provides a moving-truck size calculator and related planning content. Contact us through the public GitHub issues link on the Contact page.

Local calculator storage (not advertising)

The calculator may save quantities, custom items, and planning assumptions in your browser’s on-device storage so a refresh can restore your work. That data stays on your device unless you clear site data. The site today does not create accounts and does not upload inventory lists to a TruckSize server.

Optional custom item names are stored only locally. Do not put passwords or sensitive personal data into item names. Local storage is separate from advertising cookies described below.

Advertising and cookies

We may display third-party advertisements through Google AdSense (or related Google advertising services). Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, measure performance, and—when personalized ads are enabled—show ads based on prior visits to this site or other sites.

You can learn how Google uses data for ads and manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. Google’s policies for partners are described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we will present a consent experience before non-essential advertising cookies run. You can change those choices later through the consent controls we provide once advertising is enabled.

California “Do Not Sell or Share” (CCPA/CPRA)

Some advertising and analytics technologies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. When ads are active, we will provide a clear opt-out link or consent message for California residents (and other US state regimes as configured). You may also use browser Global Privacy Control signals where we honor them through our consent tooling.

What we do not collect today

Without accounts or a TruckSize backend, we do not receive your inventory lists, custom item names, or measured dimensions on our servers. Server logs operated by our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may include standard request metadata such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL for security and reliability.

Children

TruckSize is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

If we change how advertising, analytics, or storage works, we will update this page. The “Last updated” date below reflects the latest revision.
